Privacy Policy

TL;DR

HabitMint collects no data. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no ads and no third-party SDKs. Everything you enter stays on your device and — if you use iCloud — in your own private iCloud database that only you can access.

Who we are

HabitMint is a habit-tracking app for iPhone published by an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. Contact: homasglobal443@gmail.com.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts and never asks for your name, email address or any other identifier. We operate no servers of our own, and the app makes no network requests to us.

Where your data lives

On your device. Your habits, check-ins, streaks and settings are stored locally on your iPhone.
In your private iCloud (optional). If you are signed into iCloud, iOS syncs your HabitMint data through CloudKit into your private iCloud database so it stays in sync across your devices and survives phone upgrades. This data is tied to your Apple ID, is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, and is never visible to us. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Habit reminders are local notifications, scheduled entirely on your device. Nothing about them leaves your phone, and you can disable them at any time in Settings.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us with anonymized transaction records solely so the app can unlock the features you paid for.

Analytics, ads and third parties

The app contains no analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party code other than Apple's own iOS frameworks. We do not use cookies or any form of tracking, and we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined in privacy laws such as the CCPA or GDPR — because we never have any.

Deleting your data

Deleting a habit removes it and its entire history. Deleting the app removes all local data. If iCloud sync was on, you can remove the app's iCloud data in iOS Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage, or it is removed when you delete the app and choose to delete its data from iCloud.

Children

HabitMint does not collect data from anyone, including children, and its content is appropriate for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect. Since the app collects nothing, we expect changes to be rare.
