Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HabitMint iOS application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to the extent it does not conflict with these Terms.

What HabitMint is

HabitMint is a personal habit tracker: you create habits, check them off, and the app visualizes your consistency with streaks and heatmaps. The app requires no account. Your data is stored on your device and, optionally, in your private iCloud (see the Privacy Policy).

HabitMint is a productivity tool. It is not a medical device and provides no medical, psychological or health advice.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse-engineer the app except where the law permits it.

Free tier and HabitMint Pro

The app is free to use with up to three habits. "HabitMint Pro" unlocks unlimited habits, all widgets, the full icon library and image export. Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase:

Subscription terms (auto-renewal)

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you don't cancel before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown when you subscribed (or a later price you were notified of).
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in the App Store app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription or the lifetime unlock.
• The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and never renews.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules — you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.

Restore purchases

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Settings › Restore Purchases in the app while signed into the same Apple ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app unlawfully, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt to gain access to systems or data that are not yours.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update the app and these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
