Privacy Policy

TL;DR

Oche collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDK and the app makes no network requests. Your players, matches and statistics stay on your device. We operate no servers and never see anything you enter.

Who we are

Oche: Darts Scorer & Counter is an iPhone and iPad app published by an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. Contact: homasglobal443@gmail.com.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts and never asks for your name, email address or any identifier. It does not connect to the internet at all. In the App Store privacy label Oche is declared as "Data Not Collected".

What the app stores and where

Players. The names you type for the people at the oche and a chalk colour. Stored on your device only.
Matches and statistics. Every visit, leg and set of a finished game, and the numbers derived from them (averages, checkout percentage, 180s, best leg). Stored on your device only.
Widget. To draw the Home Screen widget, the app writes a small summary (the most recent player's name and last 20 averages) into a shared container that only Oche's own widget can read. Nothing leaves the device.
Settings. Caller on/off and speed, sounds, haptics, input mode and theme are stored on the device.
Exports and shared cards. When you export a CSV file or share a match card, the file or image is generated on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is your choice.
Device backups. Like any app data, Oche's data may be part of your iCloud or computer backup, governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Caller voice

The caller uses Apple's on-device speech synthesiser (AVSpeechSynthesizer). No audio is recorded and no text is sent anywhere. Oche never asks for microphone or camera access.

Permissions

Oche asks for no system permissions. It does not use location, contacts, calendar, photos, microphone, camera or notifications.

Purchases

Oche is free with one optional Oche Pro upgrade, a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details. Purchase status is checked with Apple's StoreKit on your device; the app stores only a yes/no flag locally so Pro keeps working offline. There are no subscriptions.

Analytics, ads and third parties

The app contains no analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising and no third-party code other than Apple's own iOS frameworks. We do not use cookies or any form of tracking, and we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined in laws such as the GDPR or CCPA — because we never have any.

Deleting your data

Long-press a player in the game setup to delete them. Deleting the app removes all local data, including matches and statistics.

Children

Oche does not collect data from anyone, including children, and its content is appropriate for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect. Since the app collects nothing, we expect changes to be rare.
