Tilly Support

1. Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen until the apps start to jiggle.
2. Tap Edit (or the + button) in the top corner, then Add Widget, and search for Tilly.
3. Swipe to choose a size — small, medium or large — and tap Add Widget.
4. While the widget is still in edit mode, tap it to choose which countdown it shows. If you don't choose, it shows the nearest upcoming event.

The small widget is free. Medium and large sizes are part of Tilly Pro.

1. Touch and hold the Lock Screen, then tap Customize › Lock Screen.
2. Tap the widget area under the clock (or the line above the clock for the inline widget) and pick Tilly.
3. Choose the circular, rectangular or inline widget, tap it to select a countdown, then tap Done.

Lock Screen widgets are part of Tilly Pro.

Tilly's widgets keep an entry for every midnight, so the day count changes exactly at 00:00 in your time zone. If a widget looks stale:

• Open Tilly once — the app refreshes all widgets whenever it becomes active.
• Check that the widget is set to the countdown you expect (edit mode › tap the widget).
• Low Power Mode and Background App Refresh being off can delay iOS widget updates by a few minutes.
• If a widget stays blank, remove it and add it again — this happens occasionally after an iOS update.

Open a countdown and tap Pin as Live Activity. The days left appear in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen; under 24 hours it switches to a live timer. One countdown can be pinned at a time and it ends automatically once the day arrives. Live Activities must be enabled for Tilly in iOS Settings › Tilly › Live Activities. This is a Tilly Pro feature.

Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase, then open Settings › Restore Purchases in Tilly (also available on the Pro screen). Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are tied to your Apple ID, not to the device. If restore finds nothing, check iOS Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions to confirm the subscription is active.

Go to iOS Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions › Tilly Pro and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The 3-day trial converts to the yearly plan unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.

Tilly stores your countdowns in your private iCloud database, so they appear on your iPhone and iPad automatically when both are signed in to the same Apple ID with iCloud Drive on. Sync usually takes a few seconds but can take longer after a fresh install. If it doesn't work, check iOS Settings › Apple ID › iCloud › Saved to iCloud and make sure Tilly is on. iCloud is optional — with it off, the app works fully on one device.

Photos sync through iCloud with the countdown. Large libraries or slow connections can delay the image a little after the text arrives. Photo backgrounds are part of Tilly Pro.

Yes. Switch on Count up after it passes when editing — good for anniversaries and "days since". Repeating events (yearly, monthly) automatically jump to the next occurrence.

A compact format popular in Korea: D-30 (30 days to go), D-Day (today), D+5 (5 days ago). It is on by default for Korean and can be switched on for any language in Settings.

Reminders are local notifications sent at 9:00 (or at the event time if you set one). Check iOS Settings › Tilly › Notifications is allowed and that Focus modes aren't silencing the app.
