By downloading or using CivicsPass (the "App") you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to all App Store apps. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is published by an independent developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security, or any part of the U.S. government. The App does not file forms, schedule interviews or provide legal or immigration advice. For official information, always rely on uscis.gov or a licensed attorney or accredited representative.
The civics questions, the acceptable answers and the reading and writing vocabulary lists in the App are published by USCIS as public U.S. government works. The App's design, code, explanations, Spanish study-aid translations of the 2025 list, practice sentences and other original material are owned by us and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control. Do not copy, resell or redistribute the App or its original content.
Some answers (for example the names of the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, Chief Justice, your state's governor and senators) change with elections and appointments. The App marks these questions and loads current values from a file we maintain, with an offline fallback. We update that file in good faith, but we cannot guarantee it is current at the moment of your interview. You are responsible for verifying these answers at uscis.gov/citizenship/testupdates and official state sources before your interview.
The readiness score, mock interview results and any other feedback are estimates based on your practice inside the App. They are not a prediction or guarantee of your performance at a USCIS interview. Which test applies to you (the 2008 or the 2025 version) and whether the 65/20 special consideration applies depend on your own case; the App shows the general rules published by USCIS, and you choose the option that matches your situation. Confirm with USCIS if you are unsure.
The App is free with optional in-app purchase CivicsPass Pro, a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks all features on your Apple account for good. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Purchases are made through Apple and are subject to Apple's terms; refunds are handled by Apple. You can restore a previous purchase on any device signed in with the same Apple account via "Restore Purchases".
Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App; do not use it in any way that breaks the law or Apple's App Store terms.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Government test content and rules can change at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any immigration outcome, arising from the use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date shows the current version. We may discontinue the App at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
