VideoShrink ("the app") is built around a simple principle: your videos and your data never leave your device.
None. VideoShrink does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, usage data, analytics, or identifiers. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no trackers.
All video processing happens entirely on your device. The app never uploads your videos anywhere. Videos you select are read through the system photo picker; the app only receives the items you explicitly choose. Compressed copies are created as new files — your originals are never modified or deleted. Saving a compressed video to your photo library uses an add-only permission: the app can add new videos but cannot read, modify, or delete anything else in your library.
VideoShrink works fully offline. The only network communication the app performs is Apple's own App Store / StoreKit communication when you purchase or restore the optional Pro unlock. That transaction is handled entirely by Apple; the app never sees your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple processes purchases.
The Pro unlock is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through your Apple Account. The app stores only a local record that the purchase is active. No purchase information is transmitted to us.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date. Since the app collects nothing, meaningful changes are unlikely.
